In My Own Words: I’ve been robbed

I’ve never been much of a reader but I’ve been a listener. I’ve always loved stories being told to me as a youngster by my elders. The narrative always captured me as I referenced my treasure trove of images to assign to the characters in the story being told.

If the story was based on African folklore it was told by an individual with passion that could and has never been matched by the western media’s tales. There were fewer images to reference for African tales within my treasure trove so I used the little I could because on TV all I watched was western content.
