  1. How I will be reinventing myself and making 2014 Younique for ME #MyYounique2014 :
YEAR 2014 I am going to surround myself with visual reminders of the life I’d like to create.
I would like to complete my studies & get a new job in a particular field. I’m going to get images & place it where it will remind me of what I’m moving toward. Now that I have a vision of my future, I’m going to break it up into workable tasks
I’ll Make a list of everything I need to do and a schedule for when I’ll do it, then commit to keep doing it, one day at a time.
Every day, I will go back to that vision of me walking towards my future.
Every morning or evening, I will close my eyes, and see myself walking into the rising sun, toward my dreams, and reconnect with why I’m moving toward this new possibility. Reinvention certainly is’nt easy nor always smooth. Often we encounter resistance. We don’t want to let go, even of things that cause us pain or that are obviously already out of our grasp. We often struggle with limiting beliefs or stories about ourselves that hold us back from trying new things. But there is one way to keep my compass pointed to this new life, even in the midst of any resistance or struggles I may encounter on my path. Each time I find myself slipping into old habits—isolating myself , making excuses not to look for work, procrastinating on a task that might help me advance in my career, i’ll ask myself: “What can I do in this moment to keep moving forward?”
Then, no matter what I feel in the moment—lonely, self-critical, tired, lazy, or disappointed— I’ll do something to maintain momentum, even if it’s one small thing. There’s an old adage that says that true courage isn’t about not feeling fear; it’s about feeling fear and acting anyway.
Reinventing myself is healthy and it’s not about outwardly appearance, it’s all attitude. The outside appearance can only be believed if I portray the right attitude. Reinventing myself starts from the inside out. It may sound cliche but it’s true. Have you ever seen someone who maybe isn’t dressed that great, may not even be that attractive, but their attitude, conversation, and energy are captivating and we just want to be around them! #MyYounique2014 will be changing my attitude, being more positive, implement action in working towards my desired goal. I will stop dwelling in the past & move towards new possibilities, most importantly I’ll choose courage instead of letting my fear choose my future for me.

  2. I’ve always wanted to own a Police watch but as an individual that can’t get my parents to reason with me, its been impossible. I do hope I get lucky. I’ve sent through quite a handful of entries via twitter and I hope they’ll be sufficient enough to have me rocking the awesome Police Saturn that’ll have me feeling like I have all the time on my wrist :D

Thanks for having such an awesome competition guys. *fingers crossed*
