Fourthwrite is the aural equivalent of a biopic of a man who has lived life and has learnt some of its most important lessons, who has surpassed the material meaningless aspirations that younger rap artists tend to strive for.”

  1. All his albums are classics, I only had the pirated ones but vowed the day that I start getting paid I’m going to buy them all. He is one of the few “commercial” rappers who still respect the art enough to be the best rapper.

For Proverb it seems more important to be the best rapper that ever made it commercially than the most famous hence you’ll never mention SA hip hop without mentioning Proverb. He is arguably the best mainstream rapper and a big idol to me. Listen to his singles.

    Great review guys!
